SHARE AND CONTROL YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION
You invested in a Internet connection for your Company since you know it will improve your staff's working efficiency. You are also concerning about how to effectively share the Internet connection to your staff whils maintaining tight control on who can access what on the Internet, and when.
Using Triton's Cybux-Net or Cybux-1 servers will free you from technical complexity of selecting and deploying solutions for bringing the most convenience working environment, while still fully
control the Internet connection.
With Cybux-Net or Cybux-1 servers, you can:
- Share one single Internet connection to your local area network,
- Define which workstation can use the Internet, and which workstation cannot,
- Define when the workstation(s) can access Internet,
- Define the Internet addresses your staff can access, or block the addresses they should not access,
- Record the log of who is accessing what and when,
DOMAIN CONTROLLER
Do you want to protect your valuable data and allow access only to relevant people? Do you want the ability to access your classified data from any workstation in your office? If you answer is "Yes", you will need a Domain Controller for your network.
Triton's Cybux servers are designed to play the Domain Controller's role. It responds to security authentication requests (logging in, checking permissions, etc.) within your Windows network.
It enable the ability to define who can access what data in what manner, and maintain this control independently from the workstation the user may log-on.
FILE AND PRINTER SHARING
If you find transfering data between your PCs using USB keys inconvenience and troublesome then you will love the new way of sharing data that the Cybux servers can bring you. The data to be shared can be placed on a network drive provided by a Cybux Server so that authorised people can access. Departmental data, such as Financial or Technical data, can be stored in Departmental disk space where only authorised people can access it.
You can attach your printer to the Cybux server to share across your network. Cybux can allow only authorised users to print to the printer, and keeps records of the number of pages each user
printed.
DATA BACKUP & RESTORATION
The Cybux Servers provide a very cost effective backup solution for your valuable data. You don't need to invest on neither expensive backup software nor expensive tape drive and cartridges. The Cybux comes with an automatic back up to CD-R/W or DVD+R/W facility, allow you to backup your data daily in an unattended manner.
The Cybux support multiple backup schemes from full backup to differential or incremental backup. You can backup upto 650MB in one shot with a CD-R/W disc or 4.7GB with a DVD+R/W disc. For larger data, you will need to use more than one disc in a backup session.
MAIL SERVER
If you need an email system for your staff to communicate internally and externally, CybuxMail server is for you.
Built on Postfix, a de-facto standard mailer, CybuxMail server is fast, secure, and easy to administer. CybuxMail supports both POP3 and IMAP protocols, make it easy for common Mail User Agents (Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbirds, Aurora...) to connect. It also provides WebMail interface to your roaming users.
Equiped with the #1 Open Source Spam Filter, CybuxMail can effectively keep spammer away from your mail system. A Virus Scanner is also built into the system to protect your emails from malicilous attachments.
