What is DHPOS?
DHPOS is a Point of Sale software, named after its creator - Dale Harris. Also called Cash Register software.
The DHPOS software has over 100,000 implementations world wide, in both small businesses and private uses, in retail shops, restaurants, cafes, bookstores.
DHPOS is also suitable for Billards and Internet Shops where Time Sales is required.

System requirements
DHPOS works well on any PC that is up to 20 years old! You can use any operatable old PC to run DHPOS. You need 5MB or more disk space.
DHPOS run on MSDOS version 2.11 or up, FreeDOS, MSWindows version 3.1 or up.
Limitations
- DHPOS will not read or validate credit cards through the register. It will accept credit sales but you must use a separate validation service.
- DHPOS do not support touch-screens. However, its group menu and shortcuts provides a fast and easy way to operate the system.
- DHPOS support upto 75 pack sales.
Localization
Even though DHPOS was originally written for use in the USA, you can localize the header, footer, and headings in the receipt.
